A new antique mall called So. Cal Antiques and Appliances is expected to open around May 1, 2026, at 6118 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011. The 6,000-square-foot space, the former Tip Top restaurant near the intersection of Airport Road just off Interstate 5, is being developed by Maggie Danise and her partner Marvin Eutsey.
Plans call for between 45 and 50 dealers through a combination of showcases and divided booth spaces. Among the confirmed dealers is the operator of Lucky Street, who will be taking two spaces. There will be a dealer who will be offering coffee, cookies and other treats.
Construction work remains ongoing, including new flooring, electrical work, and insulation. Permits are still pending, making the May 1 target date dependent on the pace of approvals and buildout.
